Anastrozole Tablet is a drug belongs to the category of anticancer drugs. It is indicated for the treatment of specialized type of cancer like breast cancer.


Mechanism of Action of Anastrozole Tablet

Anastrozole is a inhibitor of nonsteroidal aromatase enzyme. This enzyme is responsible for the estrogen level in women having postmenopausal stage. Anastrozole block this enzyme that results in decreased level of estrogen , and this makes slow down the growth of cancerous cell or kill the cancerous cell responsible for breast cancer.
